Pre-Application Planning Advice

Pre-Application Planning Advice is an optional service offered prior to submitting a full planning permission application. It enables individuals to understand how development policies will be applicable to their proposed project and obtain advice from a planning officer.

This service includes informal meetings with a planning officer either in person, over the phone, or via email. The aim is to identify and address potential issues before making a formal application, which can save time and money, provide immediate feedback, enhance customer satisfaction, and increase the likelihood of a successful application.

Pre-application planning advice is particularly useful when there’s uncertainty about the council’s stance towards a proposed project.

Walters Architects is a Royal Institute of British Architects Chartered Practice (RIBA) based in Leicester City Centre. We design structures and spaces for Domestic and Commercial clients, considering requirements and exceeding their expectations.
