Office Conversion

This former student accommodation building has been upgraded and converted into an office facility. Our involvement was to secure all Local Authority approvals and to satisfy the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) as well as coming up with design solutions for the interior.

The main challenge was to incorporate an external lift shaft, a new stairwell (to the un-serviced third floor) and new entrance access, while maintaining the historical integrity of the existing building.

The interior is to be finished to a very high standard incorporating private offices, open plan work spaces, breakout areas and meeting rooms.

This is the first of two similar buildings to undergo major refurbishment works with the second to follow on completion of the first.
